Today, I went back to observing my kindergarten class. As we were walking around the block for "Walking Wednesday", I got attacked. I was holding hands with two different girls from the class, and a pack of the other kids were surrounding me as we walked. It made my day. Taylor, one of the girls I was holding hands with, was wearing mittens and said she'd keep my hands warm. She also said she missed me and she couldn't stop smiling. I just think it's so sweet how she was so caring, especially at the young age that she is.
Even 3 months later, every time I go to observe, I still leave the school with a smile on my face. It makes me happy knowing that I'm looked up to and loved so much.
Really, that was the highlight of my day. Other amazing things happend too, though. Like.... lunch with Nicole on our first day of second semester! or... most importantly, MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM ISU! It's my first one I've ever gotten. I feel happy that all my hard work has paid off.
